Step into the dazzling world of the 1920s for an evening of intrigue, jazz, and scandal at The Winery at Versailles’ Murder Mystery Dinner! When you purchase your tickets, you will have the option to sign up as a guest or as a particular character from our exciting lineup. For those who want to dive deeper into the mystery, we highly encourage dressing up in your best Jazz Age attire to truly capture the glamour of the era.
Theme and Storyline:
Welcome to Jazz Age Jeopardy, set in the height of the Roaring Twenties. You’ll be attending a private party at The Cat’s Meow, a famous jazz club owned by Felix Fontano. The night starts off with glitz and revelry until it’s shaken by a shocking murder! Each of you will play a role as one of the club’s staff, entertainers, or guests—can you uncover the culprit, or will the secrets of the Jazz Age stay hidden?
When you sign up, you’ll receive a character sheet with special knowledge and instructions for how your character should act. Some of you may have dark secrets you’ll want to keep hidden, while others must investigate carefully to figure out whodunit!
Dinner Menu:
- 1 pre-selected flight (your choice of sweet or dry)
- Mixed green salad with our Chardonnay vinaigrette dressing
- Devilled eggs
- Assorted tea sandwiches
- Baked ham with roasted potatoes
- Pineapple upside-down cake
Available from the bar:
- Wine by the bottle or by the glass
- Mulled wine
As the evening unfolds, it’s up to you to gather clues, play your part, and solve the mystery! Be careful—some characters may not be as innocent as they seem. Don’t forget to choose your character when you purchase your tickets, and be ready for an unforgettable night of jazz, drama, and murder!
