You must call the Winery directly during regular business hours and speak to a staff member OR use the purchase tickets link on the ad where applicable. To eliminate missed messages, we do NOT accept reservations of any kind via email, voicemail or private messages.
ALL events are pre-paid and tickets are non-refundable for any reason. If you need to transfer tickets to someone else, please call The Winery first so that we are aware and can change the reservation name.
No, there are NO refunds for any events.
To find information about upcoming events visit our Events page or follow us on Facebook and check our current events listed. We try to list most events no more than 45 days in advance.
We always HIGHLY recommend making a reservation, even just for tastings. All tastings are done individually at tables so that you can relax and take your own time trying the ones you choose. Most weekends and even some weekdays we are generally booked quickly with reservations or events. It is always a good idea to call ahead to ensure a table. We CANNOT accept reservations via voice mail, email or private messages. You MUST call during regular business hours and speak directly to a staff member. This alleviates the issue of missed messages, etc.
Tastings are done in flights. A flight is a paddle that holds 5 disposable glasses. You can choose any 5 wines from our listing of over 30 wines. 5 one ounce pours are $6 and 10 one ounce pours are $12. We supply a 5 ounce logo glass if you prefer to sip from glass and it is yours to take home with you. (1 glass per visit, per person with flight purchases). Again, because these are done at a table, reservations are a must to ensure seating.
We allow under 21 years admittance only WITH a legal guardian Mon-Thurs. We are 21 yrs and older every Fri and Sat all day. This means NO infants, NO minors,in any seating area. NO exceptions. (Minors re permitted with a legal adult in the shopping areas.
We welcome large groups WITH a reservation. Again, weekends are generally booked full so without a prior reservation we cannot guarantee seating.
Yes you can, however, depending on the size of your party we may have to seat you at different tables. Our inside tables hold a maximum of 8 guests. We do not add chairs to those tables as there simply is not enough room to comfortably fit glasses, plates etc. Our upstairs tables hold a maximum of 4 guests each. Our 3rd floor can accommodate up to 14 guests at one table with a PRIOR reservation. Any groups of more than 8 guests who want to be seated downstairs WILL be at more than one table or moved outside under the covered patio. NO exceptions.
Yes, we serve food. Our kitchen is small and lightly staffed. We added a light menu a few years ago per our guests’ request, but we are first and foremost a Winery. Our focus is and always will be the wine. We work very hard with our talented chef to create foods that you will enjoy and that pair well with wine. For current menus visit our MENU page for dates and menus. *These are subject to change based on availability, etc.
We are very much animal lovers but because we serve food, we do not allow any pets in The Winery or on the covered patio. Legitimate service dogs are always welcome.
No, we have a kitchen that prepares different foods and we offer wine, beer, soda, and water. If you have a Birthday or other celebration, please call our event’s coordinator and she can assist you in setting up a special dessert if you like. NO other alcohol can be brought in to The Winery per State Law.
Carlena Sneed, our events coordinator, will be happy to assist you in setting up a private party. We can accommodate parties from 12 guests to 50 guests with specialized menus, wine pairings and more. Her email is [email protected].
Naturally occurring sulfites are generated in very small amounts ranging from 6 to 40 parts per million (ppm). All wine, beer, and cheese contain some natural sulfites. The presence of natural sulfites is so small that it normally does not present a problem to anyone but the most sulfite-sensitive.
Yes, we donate well over $25k to our local community annually, sometimes more. We are very selective in our criteria and try very hard to donate whenever feasible. However, we get on average 40-50 donation requests weekly, so in order to be as fair as we can, we have listed below instructions for all charitable donations:
Charitable Donation Requests:
The Winery at Versailles is a strong supporter of the community and we are always happy to support it in any way we can. We wish it were possible to honor all requests but that is not always the case. Due to the overwhelming number of donation requests we receive, we do have a process that we ask you to follow. In order for us to be able to consider donations completely and fairly, we will only consider donations that fall under our request criteria. Please read the following document to better understand our request procedure:
