Upcoming Wine Events


Please Note: You can NOT bring in ANY other alcohol onto the Winery property (this includes sneaking it into our events or slipping out to the parking lot to drink it). It is the LAW! It is posted in several areas of the Winery but this continues to be a problem. For those of you who abide by the rules, we thank you. For those of you that don't, you will be asked to leave. Please remember; this is a WINERY, not a bar. Any questions concerning this policy can be directed to management. Thank you for your cooperation.


Large Group?

When making reservations for large groups here at The Winery, we are limited on what we can do to keep you all seated together. Groups of more than twelve MUST rent our loft area. It holds a maximum of twenty people. There are five tables, each holds a maximum of 4 people. Table cannot be moved or chairs added to them as we need a clear path to our kitchen up there. If you have questions, please contact Carlena, our events coordinator, and she will be happy to review your reservations and address any questions.




IMPORTANT INFORMATION LISTED BELOW CONCERNING EVENTS, RESERVATIONS AND TASTINGS/SAMPLING:

ALL tickets MUST be purchased directly from The Winery, NOT via a 3rd party. Tickets are transferable ONLY with verification from The Winery and the reservation change must STILL be called in to The Winery. NO exceptions.


*We are 21 years and older every Sat starting at 5pm and during ALL dinner events. Absolutely NO exceptions, NO children. Occasionally, we are 21 yrs and older (this means NO children, NO under 21 yrs) for certain events on other days of the week. Please verify if you plan to bring a minor with you.

*Reservations are ALWAYS highly encouraged for tastings and/or dinner. You MUST call and speak with an employee during regular business hours to make your reservation. We cannot take reservations via Facebook, the website or by leaving a message. ALL tastings/sampling are done AT a table not at the bar. Thank you!

*We now carry BEER from Moeller Brew Barn, Yuengling, Miller Lite, Busch Light AND Bud Light!!

Wed. Oct 10th. Release of Live Laugh Love! 10am.
Live, Laugh, Love...... it's a wine made in honor of a very special man to us all: Mike Williams : The Winery owner and winemaker. September 15th, 2017, Mike underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery at Kettering Medical Center. Not only did he come through it 'ok', but actually WAY ahead of schedule and defied all odds. The doctors and staff were all amazed at how quickly he recovered and was back on his feet. Those of us who know him, weren't surprised at all. Mike has ALWAYS been an over-achiever, lol! So, when I had the opportunity to start working on the next annual specialty bottle for 2018 last Summer, I knew it had to be in honor of my Mike and it had to be really special. So, after months of working with our incredible graphic designer, Shawn at Boomerang Design , he came up with a label that was everything and more that I was looking for. Then the bottles; Dad HAS to have a unique bottle!! So, a beautiful unique bottle from Italy and Bruni Glass and a gorgeous paint job from the creative minds at JAFE Decorating and finally, the printed final label from our great friends at Creative Labels in Troy, Ohio. SO many people had a hand in making this event and wine special. To include the staff at Kettering Medical Center Foundation who were garcious enough to get me a copy of Mike's actual heartbeat that was integrated into the label! So, please join us in welcoming the newest 'NEW' specialty annual bottle: Live, Laugh, Love: A sweet Strawberry-Late Harvest Riesling Style Wine.
*** And as the label on the back states: This label is dedicated to a very dear member of our family who has taught us to Live in the moment, Laugh every day and Love with all our hearts: Our owner and wine maker, Mike Williams.
Release date is Wed Oct 10th at 10am. This 750 ml bottle is $19.99/ea (plus tax) AND $2 from every sale will be given directly to the Kettering Medical Center Foundation to go towards caring for those with heart issues. Please join us in supporting this very worthy cause!

Katy Sanford is back with her exceptional artistic talents to teach you how to create your very own masterpiece! Join us for a Fundraising event that supports a wonderful facility: Darke County Parks and co-hosted by The Oakley House! Cost is $45/person and includes all materials, instruction and a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines PLUS the logo glass is yours to keep! This session is limited to the first 36 guests.

Thursday Sept 19. Natural Solutions:Back to the basics with doTerra Essential Oils. 6:30-8:30
Join us for a fun and interesting class where you will create your own 2 (10ml) roller balls; Immune Booster and Stress relief Roller Balls PLUS a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and a logo glass to keep! Cost is $15/person (plus tax) and includes all materials, instruction and the wine tasting.

Sat Sept 21st is our annual Wine, Beer and Music Festival. ALL seating, all day, requires an entry ticket be purchased, NO exceptions! The retail area will be open for cash and carry sales and will NOT require entry ticket purchase. All seating is first come, first serve.

It's time for our annual outdoor Wine, Beer and Music Festival!!
Join us for a fun filled day of Wine, Beer, Food and Live Music!
NEW this year, we are bringing the incredibly unique talents of the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance performers PLUS a cooking show, vendors with unique items for sale and one of the Winery favorites: Tyler Stroh!
This event is open to ALL ages and the schedule of events are as follows:
2:30pm: Cooking show with Chef Kathryn and vendors open for sales.
4pm: Celtic Academy of Irish Dance
5-8pm: Tyler Stroh
Presale tickets are on sale now:
$10/ 21 years an older ticket includes entry PLUS a wine cocktail and choice of logo glass or wine coozie.
$5/ under 21 and designated driver ticket includes entry and a non-alcoholic drink.
Tickets will be available at the door for $15 (regular entry) and $10 (under 21 and designated driver)
Under 2 years FREE.
Seating will be available under the tent, on the patio and inside all on a first come, first serve basis. You are always welcome to bring a lawn chair and sit along the vineyard.
We will offer from the bar (we will have one in the Chardonnay Room and one inside) for an additional fee: Wine flights, glasses and bottles, slushies, cocktails, BEER, soda and water.
The kitchen will offer for a fee: Shredded chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, beef or pork nachos, garden salads and cheese/sausage/cracker baskets.
NO PETS permitted. Service animals specifically trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome.

Bring your face 'naked' for a night of tips, tricks and techniques for applying a palate of toxin free make up all while enjoying a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and a logo glass to keep, all for only $20/person (plus tax)!

Fri Oct 4th, Fall Lighted Wine Bottle and Wine Glass Class. 6:30-8:30
Lisa Irey is back for another fun filled craft class! This session you will create both a wine glass and lighted wine bottle. (Pictured are the bottle and glass). Cost is $30/person (plus tax) and includes all materials, instruction and a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines PLUS a logo glass to keep!

It's time for our Fall tour! Join us as we visit local wineries, breweries and even a distillery!
The tour schedule is as follows:
*9:30am check in at The Winery at Versailles with orange juice and cinnamon rolls.
*10:00am: Depart Winery (We will NOT wait if you are late!!) The following businesses we will visit are:
-Olde School House Winery: A guided tasting of 6 wines, snacks and a logo glass.
-Old Mason Winery: A guided tasting of 5 wines and a logo glass
-Moeller Brew Barn: A guided tasting of 4 beers and tour
-Indian Creek Distillery: A guided tasting of 4 whisky and tour
-End at the Winery at Versailles for a guided tasting of 10 wines and logo glass to keep PLUS an all you can eat appetizer buffet !
**Cost is $85/person and includes all stops, alcohol, food listed and bottled water on the bus. This is a full size commercial tour bus. We have 54 seats MAXIMUM available. Looking for a unique and fun way to enjoy dinner? Join us for Thrill of the Grill: A grill your own dinner! Your choice of protein (ribeye, beef filet, marinated chicken breast, salmon filet,marinated pork chop or Swordfish with mango salsa!!! Or for our vegetarian friends we offer portobello mushrooms. Sat Oct 26th. Holiday Blend Bash with Pink Zebra! 1-3pm
Join us for a really fun and great smelling event! Pink Zebra presents the Holiday Blend Bash. What is a Blend Bash? You will have your choice of several different scents that come in tiny little beads. Blend different scents to create the one uniquely you! These work just like wax melts and they will have not only great Fall scents but all new Holiday scents as well! Cost is $35/person (plus tax) and includes all materials, instruction and a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and a logo glass to keep! Each attendee will go home a blend box with air care spray, 3 one ounce sample bags of wax sprinkles and 3 LARGE bags to 'blend' your very own Fall or Holiday wax sprinkle melt scents!

Join us for an evening of Wine, gourmet food and great conversation with our winemaker: Mike Williams! This event is a 5 course meal paired with your choice of a sweet or dry wine, all recommended by our winemaker. The menu is as follows:

Notes

All of our wine events that require a reservation have a cancellation policy. You will be given that policy information when you make your reservation. A cancellation fee will apply if reservation is not cancelled within the allowable time. We often have waiting lists for our wine events. There will be no exceptions. Thank you.

Ask about our Members CASE CLUB! Become a member and receive info, first opportunity to purchase new wines, and invitations to our special wine events.

We strongly encourage you to make reservations if you have a group coming to The Winery for tastings. In addition, groups of 15-20 MUST rent the loft area. This is to keep larger parties from disturbing smaller groups. It also allows us to keep you all together. Groups of over 20 must rent the New Room. If you do NOT make a reservation, we can NOT guarantee seating together!

Saturday evenings at The Winery At Versailles are now 21 yrs of age and up ONLY. No children or underage please. (Private rentals excluded).
