Upcoming Wine Events


Please Note: You can NOT bring in ANY other alcohol onto the Winery property (this includes sneaking it into our events or slipping out to the parking lot to drink it). It is the LAW! It is posted in several areas of the Winery but this continues to be a problem. For those of you who abide by the rules, we thank you. For those of you that don't, you will be asked to leave. Please remember; this is a WINERY, not a bar. Any questions concerning this policy can be directed to management. Thank you for your cooperation.


Large Group?

When making reservations for large groups here at The Winery, we are limited on what we can do to keep you all seated together. Groups of more than twelve MUST rent our loft area. It holds a maximum of twenty people. There are five tables, each holds a maximum of 4 people. Table cannot be moved or chairs added to them as we need a clear path to our kitchen up there. If you have questions, please contact Carlena, our events coordinator, and she will be happy to review your reservations and address any questions.




Please note: Most of our events have some sort of cancellation policy or are pre-paid and non-refundable for any reason. Please make sure you are aware of those policies at the time you make your reservation.

We are 21 years and older every Sat starting at 5pm. Absolutely NO exceptions, NO children. Occasionally, we are 21 yrs and older (this means NO children, NO under 21 yrs) for certain events on other days of the week. Please verify if you plan to bring a minor with you.

Reservations are ALWAYS highly encouraged for tastings and/or dinner. You MUST call and speak with an employee to make your reservation. We cannot take reservations via Facebook, the website or by leaving a message. Thank you!


**EVERY Thurs from 4-8pm and every Fri and Sat from 11am to 8pm, The Winery will now offer ONLY the All-You-Can-Eat buffet. It will offer salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and assorted finger desserts for $10/person. We will ALSO offer cheese, sausage and cracker baskets AND spinach artichoke dip with chips for an additional charge. NO other menu items will be available. (**Except during special dinner events or private rentals with prior orders) This is effective Jan 2018.


Fri and Sat Jan 12th and 13th is our SOLD OUT Wine-tizers dinner event! The kitchen and buffet will close at 3pm BOTH days, tastings will end at 3:30 and ALL seating will close at 4pm. There will be NO available seating left this evening.

SOLD OUT! Jan 18, 2018 Wine and Yoga with Erika Menke of Nature's Heart Yoga. 6-8pm
Join us for a relaxing evening of yoga as well as a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and a salad and pizza buffet. The logo glass is yours to keep. Cost is $20/person. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable. NO under 21 yrs of age permitted.

SOLD OUT! Sat Jan 20th: Sip n Paint with Katy Sanford. 11am-1pm.
Katy Sanford is back for another hugely popular Sip N paint session. Cost is $25/person and includes all materials, instruction as well as a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable.(Picture to be painted is the cover photo for this event. )

SOLD OUT! Fri/Sat Jan 19/20, 2018. 6-8pm Wine and Sushi!
Our test post about hosting this event was overwhelming so we elected to try it TWO nights. We've got some super tasty sushi plus more coming your way!
Tentative menu: (being catered in by local sushi restaurant)
*Salad with asian ginger dressing
*Miso soup
*Spring roll and crab rangoon
*5 different types of sushi rolls
*pineapple ice cream
Comes with full dinner above AND your choice of 2 pre-selected wine flights that pairs with the meal, 4 glasses of wine or a bottle per couple. Cost is $60/couple ( or $30/ea) This event is by reservation only and DOES have a cancellation policy. Please be aware of this policy when making your reservation. NO under 21 yrs of age permitted either evening.
**“Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.” This event WILL contain certain raw fish products, shellfish or other foods that may have allergy related issues. Please note the menu before making your reservation. This menu will be the only foods offered these evenings.

Fri Jan 26th. Charity Benefit and Auction/Wine and Pizza. 5-8pm. Tragedy has struck a local family. It is hard to imagine how quickly lives can be changed. When it happens to people you know, in your community, it becomes surreal. People often wonder how they can best help. The Winery feels that God has blessed us in so many ways and giving back to our community is a way to show thanks and praise to Him.
We are hosting a charity fund raiser for the family of Christina Hagg who lost her life in a tragic fire this weekend. Her children and partner are going to need OUR help in picking up the broken pieces.
Please read below from the family's church a bit about the needs:

Oakland family, we have an urgent need and we are asking for a quick response. We are devistated to report that Ray Hagg’s daughter, Christina, was killed last night in a fire. Her 3 children were rescued in time but have been burned and are at the hospital. All three children will need immediate clothing, shoes, and coats. We don’t have too much to go on for sizes.

There is a 14 year old girl, Breanna. (Wears size 7 womens pants. Medium large shirt. 9-10 Women's shoe.)

There a 12 year old boy, Trey. (Trey is 20 boys huskey. Large men's shirt. Not sure on shoes size)

Last is Courtney, a 6 year old girl. (We believe her to be in a 7/8.)

We do not know shoe sizes on any of them, so we will have to guess.

Please bring any items you have to church tomorrow and place in a box in the narthex for these children.

Our heartfelt prayers go out to Ray, Brian, and Lydia for their loss.>>

The Winery will be hosting a Wine and Pizza Night on Fri Jan 26th from 5-8. It is an All-You-Can-Eat pizza buffet PLUS a glass of wine (or soda) for $15/person. 50% of each ticket sold goes to the church for disbursement to the family as needed. We will also be collecting any donations you might want to give here at The Winery and will deliver to the church. We will have several GREAT donated items up for auction and as door prizes and 100% of those proceeds will go to the family. For every dollar donation, you will receive a ticket. For every clothing item, you will receive 5 tickets. You do NOT need to be present to win a door prize. Simply drop off your item anytime between now and Fri the 26th before 4pm and you can fill out your ticket with your name and phone number.

This community has always been so supportive of each other, please consider joining us that evening!

**For THIS event only, we WILL allow ALL ages to participate. Ticket pricing is the same.

BRAND NEW in 2018: 'Bottled Up'.
This private event is a more cozy, relaxed guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines for up to a maximum of 12 guests. Included is a cheese, sausage and cracker plate AND it is conducted IN our winemaking area in the back room of the winery! A private tour is included and we might even throw in a few samples straight from the barrel or tank! Cost is $15/person. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable. It's one of the area's hottest talents performing live at The Winery! Tyler always brings in a full house so call now for reservations. NO cover charge but you must be 21 yrs or older to attend and tables are NOT guaranteed without a a reservation!

Thurs Feb 1st. The Winery will be closing to the public at 5pm as we host our employee Christmas party. We will resume normal hours on Fri Feb 2nd

Enjoy a small sip sample of all of our wines as well as a personal cheese and cracker tray and the logo glass to take home. Our wine professional will guide you through all 30 wines with some fun and informative info. We do take a short break half way through. Cost is $15/person and includes the wines, cheese and cracker plate and logo glass. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable. NO under 21 yrs or children permitted.

BOTH NIGHTS ARE SOLD OUT!! Fri/Sat Feb 9th and 10th 6-8pm: It's time for our annual Valentine's Dinner !!!!!
One of our most popular events is just around the corner! Fellas: DON'T forget to make your reservations now or we WILL book up solid fast!! Gals: be SURE to share these with your sweetie. NO parties larger then 6 guests (trying to keep it romantic folks!!)
The menu is as follows:
1st course: Iceberg lettuce topped with dried cranberries, nuts, bacon, cheddar cheese and ranch dressing served with warm bread
2nd course: Shrimp cocktail
3rd course: Lobster bisque
Main course: Roasted Cornish Game Hen with red skinned mashed potatoes with toppings and corn casserole
Dessert: Chocolate covered strawberries
Each course will be paired with your choice of a pre-selected dry or sweet wine pairing. The main course will come with a glass of your choice (or choose our suggested wine pairing).
Cost is $70/couple (plus tax and gratuity) and this event does have a cancellation policy. You MUST be 21 yrs or older to attend.

Wed Feb 14th: A SPECIAL Valentine's Day Wine and Chocolate pairing! 6:30-9:00pm.
Join us for a fun and romantic evening with dinner AND a wine/chocolate pairing! You will enjoy a salad, garlic breadsticks, and your choice of vegetarian or meat lasagna PLUS a glass of the wine of your choice AND 4 mini unique flavored chocolate cupcakes (double chocolate, salted caramel, mint chocolate and hazelnut chocolate and 4 pre-selected wine samples that pair well with them or a glass of wine of your choice! Cost is only $25/person and reservations are a MUST for this event. NO under 21 yrs permitted. All seating will be downstairs only. This event does have a cancellation policy.

Since the last two classes sold out almost immediately,. we are offering ANOTHER one! This session you will create your masterpiece of a personalized rustic wine barrel style top with your family name and a greeting. All materials as well as instructions are included AND a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines. The logo glass is yours to keep! Cost is $30/person. You must be 21 yrs or older to attend. Drab 2 Fab is back for one of our most popular craft classes! This session you will create your masterpiece of a personalized rustic wine barrel style top with your family name and a greeting. *First session is from Noon to 2pm and will be held in our Chardonnay Room.
*THE 3-5pm SESSION IS SOLD OUT!! Second session will be held from 3-5pm UPSTAIRS in our loft. You MUST be able to do stairs to attend this one! It will be a smaller group (20 max) and we can only seat you in groups of 4. If there are only TWO in your party, you WILL share a table with two other guests.

It's the FIRST EVER: Travel, Taste and Tour!! Join us on a guided tour of TWO local wineries and TWO local breweries!! The Winery at Versailles has rented a BIG charter bus and has coordinated with Olde School House Winery in Eaton, Ohio, Moeller Brew Barn in Maria Stein and Tailspin Brewing Company in Coldwater, Oh for a day of beer and wine tasting, travel and snacks! Here is what is included and the schedule for the day:
10:30am: Check in at The Winery at Versailles
11am: Depart the Winery (we CANNOT wait on late arrivals so please be on time!!)
11:30-12:30: Moellers Brew Barn; Sample 5 beers, tour and 20% off merchandise and apparel.
12:45-1:45: Tail Spin Brewing Company: Sample 5 beers, light snack and a glass to keep.
2:45-3:45: Olde Schoolhouse Winery: Guided tasting of 6 wines, tour, a glass to keep and light snacks.
4:30-5:30: The Winery at Versailles: Guided tasting of 10 wines, a glass to keep and a cheese, sausage and cracker plate.

ALL 4 stops PLUS the charter bus is only $60/person!! This is a pre-paid event and tickets are NON-refundable. Limit to the first 55 guests who call and pay. After the tour ends, The Winery will be hosting one of our most popular dinner events: Thrill of the Grill. For all guests who have attended the tour we will offer a discounted rate to attend dinner. Cost is normally $60/couple but we will offer it at 20% off ($48/couple or $24/person) If you would like to attend the dinner, you will also need to register for that event as well (you won't have to pay for the Thrill of the Grill dinner until that evening of the event but we do have a cancellation policy. We have limited seating so we are offering it to those attending this event first.

Notes

All of our wine events that require a reservation have a cancellation policy. You will be given that policy information when you make your reservation. A cancellation fee will apply if reservation is not cancelled within the allowable time. We often have waiting lists for our wine events. There will be no exceptions. Thank you.

Ask about our Members CASE CLUB! Become a member and receive info, first opportunity to purchase new wines, and invitations to our special wine events.

We strongly encourage you to make reservations if you have a group coming to The Winery for tastings. In addition, groups of 15-20 MUST rent the loft area. This is to keep larger parties from disturbing smaller groups. It also allows us to keep you all together. Groups of over 20 must rent the New Room. If you do NOT make a reservation, we can NOT guarantee seating together!

Saturday evenings at The Winery At Versailles are now 21 yrs of age and up ONLY. No children or underage please. (Private rentals excluded).
