Upcoming Wine Events


Please Note: You can NOT bring in ANY other alcohol onto the Winery property (this includes sneaking it into our events or slipping out to the parking lot to drink it). It is the LAW! It is posted in several areas of the Winery but this continues to be a problem. For those of you who abide by the rules, we thank you. For those of you that don't, you will be asked to leave. Please remember; this is a WINERY, not a bar. Any questions concerning this policy can be directed to management. Thank you for your cooperation.


Large Group?

When making reservations for large groups here at The Winery, we are limited on what we can do to keep you all seated together. Groups of more than twelve MUST rent our loft area. It holds a maximum of twenty people. There are five tables, each holds a maximum of 4 people. Table cannot be moved or chairs added to them as we need a clear path to our kitchen up there. If you have questions, please contact Carlena, our events coordinator, and she will be happy to review your reservations and address any questions.




IMPORTANT INFORMATION LISTED BELOW CONCERNING EVENTS, RESERVATIONS AND TASTINGS/SAMPLING:

ALL tickets MUST be purchased directly from The Winery, NOT via a 3rd party. Tickets are transferable ONLY with verification from The Winery and the reservation change must STILL be called in to The Winery. NO exceptions.


*We are 21 years and older every Sat starting at 5pm and during ALL dinner events. Absolutely NO exceptions, NO children. Occasionally, we are 21 yrs and older (this means NO children, NO under 21 yrs) for certain events on other days of the week. Please verify if you plan to bring a minor with you.

*Reservations are ALWAYS highly encouraged for tastings and/or dinner. You MUST call and speak with an employee during regular business hours to make your reservation. We cannot take reservations via Facebook, the website or by leaving a message. ALL tastings/sampling are done AT a table not at the bar. Thank you!

*We now carry BEER from Moeller Brew Barn, Yuengling, Miller Lite, Busch Light AND Bud Light!!

Wed. Oct 10th. Release of Live Laugh Love! 10am.
Live, Laugh, Love...... it's a wine made in honor of a very special man to us all: Mike Williams : The Winery owner and winemaker. September 15th, 2017, Mike underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery at Kettering Medical Center. Not only did he come through it 'ok', but actually WAY ahead of schedule and defied all odds. The doctors and staff were all amazed at how quickly he recovered and was back on his feet. Those of us who know him, weren't surprised at all. Mike has ALWAYS been an over-achiever, lol! So, when I had the opportunity to start working on the next annual specialty bottle for 2018 last Summer, I knew it had to be in honor of my Mike and it had to be really special. So, after months of working with our incredible graphic designer, Shawn at Boomerang Design , he came up with a label that was everything and more that I was looking for. Then the bottles; Dad HAS to have a unique bottle!! So, a beautiful unique bottle from Italy and Bruni Glass and a gorgeous paint job from the creative minds at JAFE Decorating and finally, the printed final label from our great friends at Creative Labels in Troy, Ohio. SO many people had a hand in making this event and wine special. To include the staff at Kettering Medical Center Foundation who were garcious enough to get me a copy of Mike's actual heartbeat that was integrated into the label! So, please join us in welcoming the newest 'NEW' specialty annual bottle: Live, Laugh, Love: A sweet Strawberry-Late Harvest Riesling Style Wine.
*** And as the label on the back states: This label is dedicated to a very dear member of our family who has taught us to Live in the moment, Laugh every day and Love with all our hearts: Our owner and wine maker, Mike Williams.
Release date is Wed Oct 10th at 10am. This 750 ml bottle is $19.99/ea (plus tax) AND $2 from every sale will be given directly to the Kettering Medical Center Foundation to go towards caring for those with heart issues. Please join us in supporting this very worthy cause!

Thurs April 25th. The Winery will CLOSE to the public at 4pm as we host a private event.

This Fri and Sat (April 26th and 27th) we host our SOLD OUT Thrill of the Grill dinner event. Our kitchen will close at 3pm, all tastings/samples will end at 3:30pm and all seating will end at 4pm. We will remain open for retail sales. Sat April 27th we have seating left UPSTAIRS only for seating during the day.

SOLD OUT!!!! Fri/Sat April 26th and 27th: Thrill of the Grill. 6-8pm. Looking for a unique and fun way to enjoy dinner? Join us for Thrill of the Grill: A grill your own dinner! Your choice of protein (ribeye, beef filet, marinated chicken breast, salmon filet, marinated pork chop or for our vegetarian friends we offer portobello mushrooms and NEW for 2019: Swordfish with mango salsa!!!) Add in a salad, bread, potato and veggie PLUS dessert AND wine or BEER! Cost is ONLY $65/couple (plus tax and gratuity)

SOLD OUT!! Friday May 3rd. Ultimate Taste.6:30-8:30pm
Enjoy a small sip sample of all of our wines, plus a cheese and cracker sampler for only $15/person! The stemless logo glass is yours to keep! This is a 2 hour guided tasting and starts promptly at 6:30 pm. We cannot go back and do any tastings over if you arrive late. The all you can eat pizza buffet is available that day for an additional fee and reservations can be made for prior to the tasting event. NO under 21 yrs permitted. SOLD OUT! Saturday May 11, Mother's Day Brunch. 11am to 1pm.
Mother's Day Brunch! 10:30am to 1:00pm. Join us for our annual celebration of ALL mothers. Show Mom how special she really is and treat her to a delicious brunch at The Winery!
Our menu is as follows:
*Salad bar with fruit and pasta salad
*Frittata
*Biscuits and Gravy
*Apple and cream cheese bread pudding
*Ham slices

Each attendee (over 21 yrs of age) will also receive one of our famous Mimosas (Peach Mist and orange juice!). We will also offer orange juice, coffee, tea, soda and water.
Ticket pricing is as follows:
*3 and under FREE (please note, we do NOT have high chairs)
*4-12 years: $10/ea (plus tax)
*13 and over $15/ea (plus tax).

It's another super popular soap making class!! Cost is only $10/person and includes all materials and instruction to make your own bar of soap PLUS a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and the logo glass is your to keep! SOLD OUT! Sat June 1st. Travel, Taste & Tour 2019. 9:30am-8pm!
It's BACK!!! This SUPER popular event sold out ALL 3 times we offered it last year in record time: less than 3 hours for the first bus!
This year's tour is only planned once so if you want tickets, you better get them fast! Tour schedule is as follows:
9:30am: Check in at The Winery at Versailles for breakfast (OJ and cinnamon rolls)
10am: Depart The Winery
1st stop: Tail Spin Brewery for a beer flight and light snacks
2nd stop: Spade and Barrel: Wine Tasting
3rd stop: Moellers Brew Barn: beer flight
4th stop: Endless pints: beer flight
Last stop: The Winery at Versailles: Wine tasting and all you can eat appetizer buffet.
Cost is $75 (plus tax) per person and includes all samples, snacks , water on the bus and the all you can eat appetizer buffet plus transportation. This is a full size commercial tour bus. We have 55 seats MAXIMUM available. All tickets must be pre-paid and are non-refundable for ANY reason. Tickets ARE transferable but you must call Carlena, our events coordinator, so she has thier name for check in. You MUST be 21 yrs or older to attend. Fri June 3rd, starting at 10am: Pre-Sale of Rooster Red!!
It's that time of year folks: Poultry Days! And not only does that mean world famous chicken but it also means it's time to release Rooster Red!!! Starting at 10am on Mon June 3rd we will accept pre-paid pre-orders, we will have 90 cases of Rooster Red available for sale. ALL wine can be picked up starting Fri June 14th after 10am. This sweet Concord is ONLY available during Poultry Days and at Christmas (Reindeer Red). It ALWAYS sells out almost immediately so get it while it lasts. Pre-orders will be accepted starting Monday June 3rd. Cost is $10.99/bottle (plus tax).
We will also be AT Poultry Days in the social tent across from ticket sales and craft beers. We will offer a wide selection of dry to sweet wines, our famous Sangria and jello shots!! Be sure to stop by and visit us!

Thursday June 6th: Make and Take Essential Oil Roller Ball and Bug Spray. 6:30-8:30pm
Join us for a fun and useful craft class! Krista Heckman with doTERRA Essential Oils will guide you through a fun and instructional event where you will create your very own 10ml 'itch stick' essential oil roll on and a 4 oz essential oil bug spray. Included is a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and the logo glass is yours to keep! Cost is $15/person (plus tax).
The kitchen will offer appetizers, salads and pizzas and the bar will offer tastings, glasses, bottles, slushies and beer. These are all available at an additional charge and can be purchased that day.

Fri/Sat June 7th and 8th: Wine-Tizers: Poultry Days Style!
Join us for a fun night of chicken, wine and more! This all you can eat buffet offers excellent pairing suggestions and includes the all you can eat buffet PLUS a flight of 5 one ounce samples AND a 2 oz pour of June's Specialty Drink! Cost is $20/person (plus tax).
The bar will also offer tastings, glasses, bottles, specialty drinks and BEER for an additional fee.
On the buffet:
*Lay your chicken over my 'nachos'
*Crack chicken sliders
*Chicken alfredo bites
*Chicken buffalo dip
*Chicken salad with apples
*Spinach artichoke dip
*Mini corn dogs

Saturday June 8th. FurBaby Photo Shoot! 10am to 2pm.
In a fundraising effort for the Darke County Humane Society √ we will be offering a photo session with your pet (and you if you choose!) Proceeds will go to the Humane Society. Special thanks to Elsas Photography for doing the sessions!
Cost is $25 (plus tax) and you will receive 3 edited photos. You may have 2 people and up to 4 furbabies. $5/additional person.
This is a LIMITED session. Each session is approx 15 minutes and we will schedule them every 20 minutes.
Here are the rules:
*Your dog/cat must come ON a leash and remain on a leash or in a carrier
*All animals MUST remain outside or on the covered patio
*Please clean up after your pet. We will provide a can to toss waste
*All dogs must bring proof of current rabies and distemper vaccinations
*All pets MUST be under control at all times
*You are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine and food on the covered patio with your pet but again, please keep them near you and away from other pets at all times. They CANNOT come inside the Winery.
*We will be happy to provide your pet with a bowl of fresh water, just let us know :)
*Weather permitting, all sessions will be done in the vineyard
*There are only TWELVE sessions available so be sure to book yours quickly!

Join Elva Schweizer of Pink Zebra for a Blend Bash party! You will receive a blend box with 2 one ounce sprinkle sample, 1 product card, 1 one ounce Hope Collection sample, 1 pre-soaked Go Card with Air Care and 3 four ounce blending bags...to blend your own! PLUS a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines AND the logo glass is yours to keep! Cost is $35/person (plus tax)

Join our always popular Lisa Irey of Asti Lane Designs as you create your very own 4 inch mini garden gnome planter with gnome, soil, a miniature house and tropical plant to finish off your masterpiece! Included is a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and the logo glass is yours to keep. Cost is $35/person (plus tax)

Thursday June 27th: Sip N Drum: A Cardio Drumming Class with Nichole Loy! 6:30-8:30
THIS looks like a super FUN event!!!
Join Nichole Loy as she takes you through a 30 minute cardio workout with drumsticks!! How fun is that? This newest workout craze is gaining popularity daily and we can't wait to host our first session here at the Winery! Cost is $15/person (plus tax) and includes a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and the logo glass is yours to keep!
The kitchen will offer appetizers, salads and pizzas and the bar will offer tastings, glasses, bottles, slushies and beer. These are all available at an additional charge and can be purchased that day.

Fri/Sat June 28th and 29th: . Shrimp & Crab Boil! 6:30-8:30pm
Enjoy an old fashioned southern style shrimp and crab boil! This real southern favorite meal starts off with an iceberg wedge style buffet with all the toppings plus cheddar bay biscuits, Crab legs, shrimp, corn on the cob and potatoes! Finish the evening with a citrus dessert!. Each couple will also receive a select bottle of the wine of with dinner (also available glasses of wine and/or beer). This meal is served on right on your newspaper covered table!
All of this for only $75/couple (plus tax and gratuity) This event is by reservation only and does have a cancellation policy. Seating is available at 6:30 only.

Sat June 29th. Flea Market! 11am to 3pm. Sip, shop and sample!
Join us for our 2nd annual Flea Market! last year was a HUGE success with over 60 vendors and 400+ attendees! Join us for all kinds of unique vendors offering crafts, homemade products and so much more! Our kitchen will offer several freshly made goodies. We will have LOTS more parking this year as well as inside and outside seating. NO cover charge! There will be bars inside and outside with wine cocktails, wine flights, glasses, bottles and BEER! So make plans now to sip, shop and sample! All seating will be first come, first serve that day.
*We are NO LONGER accepting vendor applications for 2019. All of our shows are now fully booked with vendors. In January of 2020 we will post when we will start accepting vendor applications again. Thank you!

Notes

All of our wine events that require a reservation have a cancellation policy. You will be given that policy information when you make your reservation. A cancellation fee will apply if reservation is not cancelled within the allowable time. We often have waiting lists for our wine events. There will be no exceptions. Thank you.

Ask about our Members CASE CLUB! Become a member and receive info, first opportunity to purchase new wines, and invitations to our special wine events.

We strongly encourage you to make reservations if you have a group coming to The Winery for tastings. In addition, groups of 15-20 MUST rent the loft area. This is to keep larger parties from disturbing smaller groups. It also allows us to keep you all together. Groups of over 20 must rent the New Room. If you do NOT make a reservation, we can NOT guarantee seating together!

Saturday evenings at The Winery At Versailles are now 21 yrs of age and up ONLY. No children or underage please. (Private rentals excluded).
