Upcoming Wine Events


Please Note: You can NOT bring in ANY other alcohol onto the Winery property (this includes sneaking it into our events or slipping out to the parking lot to drink it). It is the LAW! It is posted in several areas of the Winery but this continues to be a problem. For those of you who abide by the rules, we thank you. For those of you that don't, you will be asked to leave. Please remember; this is a WINERY, not a bar. Any questions concerning this policy can be directed to management. Thank you for your cooperation.


Large Group?

When making reservations for large groups here at The Winery, we are limited on what we can do to keep you all seated together. Groups of more than twelve MUST rent our loft area. It holds a maximum of twenty people. There are five tables, each holds a maximum of 4 people. Table cannot be moved or chairs added to them as we need a clear path to our kitchen up there. If you have questions, please contact Carlena, our events coordinator, and she will be happy to review your reservations and address any questions.




Please note: Most of our events have some sort of cancellation policy or are pre-paid and non-refundable for any reason. Please make sure you are aware of those policies at the time you make your reservation.

We are 21 years and older every Sat starting at 5pm. Absolutely NO exceptions, NO children. Occasionally, we are 21 yrs and older (this means NO children, NO under 21 yrs) for certain events on other days of the week. Please verify if you plan to bring a minor with you.

Reservations are ALWAYS highly encouraged for tastings and/or dinner. You MUST call and speak with an employee to make your reservation. We cannot take reservations via Facebook, the website or by leaving a message. Thank you!


**EVERY Thurs from 4-8pm and every Fri and Sat from 11am to 8pm, The Winery will now offer ONLY the All-You-Can-Eat buffet. It will offer salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and assorted finger desserts for $10/person. We will ALSO offer cheese, sausage and cracker baskets AND spinach artichoke dip with chips for an additional charge. NO other menu items will be available. (**Except during special dinner events or private rentals with prior orders) This is effective Jan 2018.

Feb 22, 2018 Wine and Yoga with Erika Menke and Nature's Heart Yoga. 6-8pm
Join us for a relaxing evening of yoga as well as a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines and the all you can eat pizza buffet. The logo glass is yours to keep. Cost is $20/person (includes the buffet). This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable. NO under 21 yrs of age permitted.

Sat Feb 24th: Live music with Colt Douglas! 5-8pm
He's BACK!! You asked for him so we brought him back again: Colt Douglas! NO cover charge but reservations are a MUST to ensure a table. NO under 21 yrs permitted.

SOLD OUT!!!!! Fri Feb 23rd Ultimate Taste! 6:30-8:30pm Enjoy a small sip sample of all of our wines as well as a personal cheese and cracker tray and the logo glass to take home. Our wine professional will guide you through all 30 wines with some fun and informative info. We do take a short break half way through. Cost is $15/person and includes the wines, cheese and cracker plate and logo glass. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable.
For an additional $10 (which you can pay at the time of the event) you can also enjoy the all you can eat salad, breadstick, assorted pizzas and finger desert buffet. Please let us know if you will be coming early for lunch when you call to reserve your spot.

BOTH SESSIONS ARE SOLD OUT!! Sat March 3rd: Ultimate Taste! TWO SESSIONS!!!
*First session is from Noon to 2pm and will be held in our Chardonnay Room.
Second session will be held from 3-5pm UPSTAIRS in our loft. You MUST be able to do stairs to attend this one! It will be a smaller group (20 max) and we can only seat you in groups of 4. If there are only TWO in your party, you WILL share a table with two other guests.

Sat March 3rd: Blind Tasting! 6-8pm
Blind Tasting “Get your wine connoisseur on”. Tasting event from 6-8pm
You will be treated to several tastings of our award winning wines, but we won't tell you the name of them! (It's a secret until the end!). You will be given a description and tasting, but YOU compete with other guests to guess the wines! You will also learn about 'essences': the scents and tastes that remind you of a particular thing such as vanilla, oak, cherry, grass, berries, etc) as well as how to tell if a wine has a defect. Will be a lot of fun! Winners will win a door prize! Cost for this event is $20 (plus tax) and you get the logo glass to keep! (There will be an all you can eat buffet that evening with salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and finger desserts for $10/person from 4-8pm)This event is by reservation only and you MUST be 21 yrs or older to attend. (Limited to first 40 paid reservations.)

Fri/Sat March 9th and 10th: Thrill of the Grill!! 6-8pm.
It's our FIRST Thrill of the Grill for 2015! Join us for our most popular, longest running dinner event! Never attended Thrill of the Grill? Here's how it works: You pre-select your meat when you make your reservation: Ribeye, beef filet, marinated chicken breast, marinated pork chop, salmon filet or for our vegetarian friends: portobello mushrooms! We bring you warm bread and a salad. When you're ready, head on out to our hot charcoal grills and grill your meat just the way you like it! Plenty of seasonings and sauces to choose from. There is a buffet with baked potatoes and a veggie and all the fixins. We'll finish the night off with a wonderful dessert and coffee. Also included is a select bottle of wine per couple! All of this for only $60/couple (plus tax and gratuity!) This event seating is available at 6pm, 6:30pm or 7pm. Please call for reservations and have your meat selection and seating time preference ready.There is a cancellation policy so please be aware of this when making your reservation. NO under 21 yrs permitted either night.

Fri March 16, 6:30-8:30pm. Wine and Sushi!
Our initial Wine and Sushi event was a complete sell out and we got such great feedback that we are hosting another during lent! One night only so make your reservations fast as the last one sold out in just a day!
Menu:

*5 different types of sushi
*pineapple ice cream
Cost is $60/couple (plus tax and gratuity) and includes a flight of suggested wines each or a bottle to share.

Sat March 17. St Patty Day Party with Joseph Helfrich! 5-8pm
Join us at the Winery as we welcome our favorite Irish storyteller, comedian and folk singer: Joseph Helfrich! NO cover charge but reservations are required.You MUST be 21 yrs or older to attend. (*All you can eat buffet from 4-8pm with salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and finger desserts will be available for $10/person)

Thurs March 22. Wine and Yoga with Erika Menke and Nature's Heart Yoga! 6-8pm. Join us in our Chardonnay Room for an evening of Wine and Yoga! Instructed by Erica Menke, this class will begin with a 1 hour yoga session then a guided wine tasting of 10 pre-selected wines, the pizza buffet and a logo glass are included. Cost is $20/person. This is a pre-paid event and tickets are NON-refundable. You MUST be 21 yrs or older to attend.

BOTH NIGHTS ARE SOLD OUT!! Fri/Sat March 23rd and 24th: Shrimp and Crab Boil just in time for Lent! 6-8pm
(*In honor of lent, this event will NOT have bacon on salads or sausage in the boil) It's time for our Shrimp and Crab Boil!!! Join us for our southern style shrimp and crab boil. From the newspaper on the tables to the crab bibs, we're making this event as authentic as possible! You'll enjoy a salad with ranch dressing, candied walnuts and cranberries and cheddar bay biscuits. Then we bring the main course: The Boil!! A heaping platter of snow crab legs (with warm drawn butter and lemon!), shrimp, corn on the cob, and potatoes! You'll finish off with a citrus dessert and a bottle of wine per couple, OR two one ounce flights per couple, OR 2 glasses per person. Only $70/couple! This event always fills up fast, so make your reservation now! Seating is available at 6pm or 6:30pm only. BOTH evenings are 21 yrs and older only. *There is a cancellation policy for this event.

SOLD OUT! Sat March 24. Easter Bottle Decor Class. 1-3pm.
Design your own beautiful Easter wine bottle decorative light. All supplies and instruction as well as a tasting with 10 pre-selected wines and a logo glass are included. Cost is $25/person. (*An all you can eat buffet with salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and finger desserts is available at an additional cost of $10/person.) This is a pre-paid event and tickets are non-refundable. NO under 21 yrs of age permitted.

Sat March 31. Drab to Fab Clock craft. Noon-2pm.
Join us as we try and brand new fun and unique craft. We will be decorating recycled vinyl records using decoupage and turning them into clocks! Cost is $30/person (plus tax) and includes all materials, instruction and a guided tasting of 10 pre-selected wines! This is a pre-paid event and you must be 21 yrs or older to attend.
*We will offer an all you can eat buffet that day starting at 11am. Salad, breadsticks, assorted pizzas and finger desserts for only $10/person (plus tax). You can pay for the buffet the day of the event.

Sat March 31. Live Music with Tyler Stroh! 5-8pm
Join us for one of our most popular Live Music performers: Tyler Stroh! NO cover charge but you MUST be 21 years or older to attend. ID WILL be checked. Reservations are a must and seating is done based on the first to call and reserve their table.
**PLEASE have as accurate a headcount as possible when making a reservation and if that number changes, contact us asap as this event always sells out, so that we can accommodate others who might want to attend.

SOLD OUT!!! Sat April 14th: Travel, Taste and Tour! 10:30am-6pm
It's the FIRST EVER: Travel, Taste and Tour!! Join us on a guided tour of TWO local wineries and TWO local breweries!! The Winery at Versailles has rented a BIG charter bus and has coordinated with Olde School House Winery in Eaton, Ohio, Moeller Brew Barn in Maria Stein and Tailspin Brewing Company in Coldwater, Oh for a day of beer and wine tasting, travel and snacks! Here is what is included and the schedule for the day:
10:30am: Check in at The Winery at Versailles
11am: Depart the Winery (we CANNOT wait on late arrivals so please be on time!!)
11:30-12:30: Moellers Brew Barn; Sample 5 beers, tour and 20% off merchandise and apparel.
12:45-1:45: Tail Spin Brewing Company: Sample 5 beers, light snack and a glass to keep.
2:45-3:45: Olde Schoolhouse Winery: Guided tasting of 6 wines, tour, a glass to keep and light snacks.
4:30-5:30: The Winery at Versailles: Guided tasting of 10 wines, a glass to keep and a cheese, sausage and cracker plate.

ALL 4 stops PLUS the charter bus is only $60/person!! This is a pre-paid event and tickets are NON-refundable. Limit to the first 55 guests who call and pay. After the tour ends, The Winery will be hosting one of our most popular dinner events: Thrill of the Grill. For all guests who have attended the tour we will offer a discounted rate to attend dinner. Cost is normally $60/couple but we will offer it at 20% off ($48/couple or $24/person) If you would like to attend the dinner, you will also need to register for that event as well (you won't have to pay for the Thrill of the Grill dinner until that evening of the event but we do have a cancellation policy. We have limited seating so we are offering it to those attending this event first.

It's the annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt!!!
Always a fabulous night of fun, food, prizes and wine and our annual fundraiser for a local charity!! This year's charity is Darke County Veteran's Services! As always, local businesses have stepped up to donate some really fantastic items that will be auctioned off!! Only $10/person and that entitles you to entry, a wine cocktail plus 5 door prize tickets!! Door prize winners drawn all evening long! Want more tickets and chances to win?? For every non perishable food item or $1 donation you get a ticket. NO limit on tickets! All monies from entry fee, ticket sales and auctions go directly to The Darke County Veteran's Services! Call and reserve your spot today!! — This IS a pre-paid event and tickets are NON-refundable for any reason!! No children or under 21 yrs of age is permitted. NO exceptions! This event ALWAYS sells out early so get your tickets soon! ALL seating is banquet style, since the goal is to raise as much money for charity as we can so you WILL most likely be seated by other guests. Notes

All of our wine events that require a reservation have a cancellation policy. You will be given that policy information when you make your reservation. A cancellation fee will apply if reservation is not cancelled within the allowable time. We often have waiting lists for our wine events. There will be no exceptions. Thank you.

Ask about our Members CASE CLUB! Become a member and receive info, first opportunity to purchase new wines, and invitations to our special wine events.

We strongly encourage you to make reservations if you have a group coming to The Winery for tastings. In addition, groups of 15-20 MUST rent the loft area. This is to keep larger parties from disturbing smaller groups. It also allows us to keep you all together. Groups of over 20 must rent the New Room. If you do NOT make a reservation, we can NOT guarantee seating together!

Saturday evenings at The Winery At Versailles are now 21 yrs of age and up ONLY. No children or underage please. (Private rentals excluded).
